Cyber Journalism

One of the most dynamic partnerships in the CISNY's tech initiatives is The NetGeneration (NG), a cyber-journalism program launched in 1999 at the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington, DC. The inquiry-based national initiative is dedicated to cultivating research, tech skills, media literacy, creative expression, and informed civic engagement in youth.'

• Developing Multimedia Skills

Program includes email, chats, bulletin boards, threaded discussions, video-conferencing, e-learning, e-mentoring.

A plan for the development of an on-line media education program is currently being reviewed by The Centre for Communications.
